That Crocodile Hunter Guy.

Oh, I know he’s a bit too over-the-top and in-your-face, but I’ve developed a soft spot for Steve Irwin over the years. Sam had an intense Crocodile Hunter phase, and yesterday we were watching some of the footage, unable to really believe that someone so alive could be so abruptly dead. Left a wife and two kids. Whatever else you can say about the Crocodile Hunter, he was passionate about his work, and how many of us can say that, honestly?

Give ‘em hell up there, Stevie.

Steve is up there, for sure. And I bet he’s having a hell of a party, what with all the other wild-life up there with him. As for that sting-ray…well…I suspect Steve has a strange soft-spot in his heart for him, no pun intended.

I’ve been so sad over this news! If there was anyone who loved life and lived with eager enthusiasm, it was him. He *defined* passion about one’s work!

I have read and reread the news and watched and all that i just can’t believe it. The photo they show of him right before he got in the water that morning on te boat shows that “big kid” of a guy. And to think in a matter of hours or minutes whichever he was gone. So sad is all i can say. Such a happy and beautiful family broken and hurt so quickly
